Alla frukter och gr\u00f6nsaker inneh\u00e5ller en del bioflavonoider, men choklad inneh\u00e5ller massor av det. Bioflavonoider har visat sig <strong>f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra hj\u00e4rth\u00e4lsa, minska risken till hj\u00e4rtsjukdom, minska LDL<\/strong> (\u00e4ven k\u00e4nt som det &#8220;onda kolesterolet&#8221;) och <strong>f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra HDL<\/strong> (\u00e4ven k\u00e4nt som det &#8220;goda kolesterolet&#8221;), och till och med <strong>f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra blodfl\u00f6det till hj\u00e4rnan<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resveratrol<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Detta \u00e4r en kraftfull antioxidant som kan <strong>skydda dina celler mot fria radikaler<\/strong>, det \u00e4r <strong>utm\u00e4rkt f\u00f6r huden <\/strong>och kan till och med hj\u00e4lpa med att <strong>stabilisera blodsockret<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antioxidanten hamnade p\u00e5 tapeten 2003 n\u00e4r man uppt\u00e4ckte att det m\u00e4rkbart \u00f6kade livsl\u00e4ngden f\u00f6r <em>Saccharomyces cerevisiae<\/em>, en typ av j\u00e4st. Det aktiverar gener som kallas f\u00f6r sirtuiner, och de kan laga mutationer som naturligt sker i v\u00e5rt DNA n\u00e4r vi \u00e5ldras (2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pyrrolokinolinkinon (PQQ)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>PQQ \u00e4r just nu min favoritmolekyl! Det \u00e4r en ny uppt\u00e4ckt, men det finns massor av sp\u00e4nnande saker kring den. Den verkar som en <strong>antioxidant<\/strong>, men \u00e4ven som en <strong>kofaktor f\u00f6r enzymer<\/strong>, vilket betyder att den g\u00f6r det m\u00f6jligt f\u00f6r s\u00e4rskilda enzymer att verka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Det fr\u00e4msta verkningsomr\u00e5det f\u00f6r PQQ \u00e4r i v\u00e5ra mitokondrier<\/strong>. Mitokondrier \u00e4r ansvariga f\u00f6r energiproduktionen som \u00e4r oerh\u00f6rt viktig f\u00f6r v\u00e5r h\u00e4lsa. Men <strong>syre kan ocks\u00e5 orsaka oxidativ stress i v\u00e5ra mitokondrier<\/strong>. Det \u00e4r denna oxidativa stress som v\u00e5ra antioxidanter m\u00e5ste motverka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mitokondriella antioxidanter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Alla antioxidanter vi h\u00f6r talas om kan inte verka i v\u00e5ra mitokondrier, men <strong>PQQ \u00e4r en som g\u00f6r det, och den skyddar s\u00e4rskilt v\u00e5ra mitokondrier fr\u00e5n oxidativ skada<\/strong>. Den stimulerar \u00e4ven mitokondriell biogenes, vilket betyder att kroppen producerar fler mitokondrier (3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ju fler mitokondrier vi har, desto mer av energiproduktionen kan spridas ut mellan dem, och varje mitokondrie uts\u00e4tts d\u00e4rmed f\u00f6r mindre stress. Det g\u00f6r att varje mitkondrie blir friskare. En s\u00e4mre h\u00e4lsa och energiproduktion hos v\u00e5ra mitokondrier s\u00e4gs vara en av huvudanledningarna till att vi \u00e5ldras. Allt vi kan g\u00f6ra f\u00f6r att <strong>\u00f6ka mitokondriernas h\u00e4lsa kan hj\u00e4lpa oss att leva l\u00e4ngre<\/strong> (4)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Det mangan och selen som m\u00f6rk choklad inneh\u00e5ller anv\u00e4nder kroppen \u00e4ven s\u00e4rskilt i mitokondrierna. <strong>Antioxidantenzymerna SOD och glutationperoxidas beh\u00f6ver dem f\u00f6r att fungera ordentligt<\/strong>. Det g\u00f6r m\u00f6rk choklad till ett kraftverk f\u00f6r dina mitokondrier och ger mer energi till din kropp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skickat fr\u00e5n en galax l\u00e5ngt borta!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En \u00e4nnu h\u00e4ftigare grej \u00e4n dess effekt p\u00e5 mitokondrierna \u00e4r att <strong>PQQ uppt\u00e4ckts i &#8220;rymdstoft&#8221; p\u00e5 asteroider i yttre rymden<\/strong>. Stoftet visar att de f\u00f6rsta molekylerna med liv p\u00e5 jorden faktiskt kan ha f\u00e4rdats igenom rymden p\u00e5 kometer och asteroider. Genom att bara \u00e4ta <strong>13 gram kakao per dag <\/strong>(vilket endast \u00e4r 18,6 gram av 70-procentig m\u00f6rk choklad) visades f\u00f6ljande:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>De minskade LDL<\/strong> (\u00e4ven k\u00e4nt som det &#8220;onda kolesterolet&#8221;) b\u00e5de i totalt antal och m\u00e4ngden skadat kolesterol genom oxidering.<\/li><li><strong>De \u00f6kade HDL<\/strong> (\u00e4ven k\u00e4nt som det goda kolesterolet).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>LDL \u00e4r det som mest sannolikt orsakar hj\u00e4rtsjukdom d\u00e4rf\u00f6r vill vi stoppa LDL fr\u00e5n oxidation! De goda nyheterna \u00e4r att ytterligare 3 studier p\u00e5 choklad alla specifikt visat att det kan <strong>f\u00f6rhindra oxidering av LDL-kolesterol<\/strong> (6,7,8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En annan studie fr\u00e5n Penn State University visade att <strong>m\u00f6rk choklad minskade LDL i st\u00f6rre utstr\u00e4ckning<\/strong>. <strong>I j\u00e4mf\u00f6relse med en kost som inneh\u00f6ll en l\u00e5g andel bioflavonoider<\/strong> (9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hj\u00e4rtsjukdom<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Den h\u00e4r minskningen i oxidering och andel ont kolesterol har f\u00f6rts vidare i observationsstudier. Studierna tittade p\u00e5 risker f\u00f6r hj\u00e4rtsjukdom och chokladkonsumtion. En studie som gjordes f\u00f6r \u00f6ver 15 \u00e5r sen uppt\u00e4ckte att <strong>risken f\u00f6r hj\u00e4rtsjukdom minskade med 50% f\u00f6r de som \u00e5t mest choklad <\/strong>j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med de som \u00e5t minst (10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En annan studie visade att ju mer choklad en person \u00e5t, desto <strong>mindre bel\u00e4ggningar hittades i deras art\u00e4rer<\/strong> (11). Japp, det har de h\u00e4r studierna visat. De testade unga personer med n\u00e5gra pussel och gav dem sen kakao-bioflavonoider i 5 dagar. Forskarna uppt\u00e4ckte att de <strong>presterade b\u00e4ttre i pusslen<\/strong> efter att ha tagit kakao-bioflavonoider (12).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den andra studien tittade p\u00e5 en helt annan grupp personer genom att testa \u00e4ldre f\u00f6rs\u00f6kspersoner som led av mild kognitiv f\u00f6rs\u00e4mring. Kognitiv f\u00f6rs\u00e4mring betyder \u00e5ldersrelaterad neds\u00e4ttning i hj\u00e4rnfunktioner som minne, vilket m\u00e5nga upplever n\u00e4r vi blir \u00e4ldre. De uppt\u00e4ckte att ju mer kakao-bioflavonoider f\u00f6rs\u00f6kspersonerna intog, <strong>desto b\u00e4ttre klarade de en rad olika tester som utformats f\u00f6r att testa minne, koncentration, f\u00f6rst\u00e5else av omgivningen och kommunikationsf\u00f6rm\u00e5ga<\/strong> (13).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intelligentlabs.org\/chocolate-make-smarter\/\">Relaterad artikel: G\u00f6r choklad dig smartare?<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">M\u00e5 bra-k\u00e4nsla<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sist men absolut inte minst, s\u00e5 p\u00e5verkar chokladen v\u00e5rt v\u00e4lm\u00e5ende. En finsk studie p\u00e5 305 gravida kvinnor uppt\u00e4ckte att mammor som \u00e5t choklad dagligen <strong>fick mer avslappnade bebisar vid 6-m\u00e5naders \u00e5lder<\/strong> (14).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En annan studie p\u00e5 \u00e4ldre m\u00e4n d\u00e4r genomsnitts\u00e5ldern var 76, visade att de som \u00e5t choklad hade <strong>b\u00e4ttre psykologisk h\u00e4lsa<\/strong> j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med de som inte gjorde det (15).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men sen kan man fr\u00e5ga sig, beh\u00f6vde vi verkligen en vetenskaplig studie som ber\u00e4ttar f\u00f6r oss att choklad f\u00e5r oss att m\u00e5 bra?!
