Detta beror delvis p\u00e5 grund av den stora m\u00e4ngden processad mat som \u00e4r brett f\u00f6rekommande i v\u00e4sterl\u00e4ndsk kost (8). Men det \u00e4r inte bara en d\u00e5lig kosth\u00e5llning som b\u00e4r skulden. Stress och milj\u00f6f\u00f6roreningar som \u00e4r en del av det moderna livet dr\u00e4nerar \u00e4ven det magnesium fr\u00e5n v\u00e5ra kroppar. \u00c4nnu mer oroande s\u00e5 finns det anledningar till denna vitt utbredda brist som \u00e4r bortom v\u00e5r kontroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enligt en studie fr\u00e5n 2009 som publicerades i HortsScience inneh\u00e5ller dagens frukter och gr\u00f6nsaker mindre magnesium j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med f\u00f6r n\u00e5gra \u00e5rtionden sedan. Det beror p\u00e5 att de moderna jordbruksmetoderna p\u00e5skyndar produktionen f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 snabbare gr\u00f6dor p\u00e5 mindre tid. Att binda eller kedja magnesium med glycin f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrar dess biotillg\u00e4nglighet markant, och g\u00f6r den h\u00e4r formen mycket effektiv f\u00f6r att \u00f6ka kroppens magnesiumniv\u00e5er.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dess \u00f6verl\u00e4gsna biotillg\u00e4nglighet visas i en studie som publicerades i tidsskriften FASEB. Patienter som genomgick bariatriska operationer och samtidigt tog 400mg magnesiumglycinat under 6 veckor hade en f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttring i deras plasmamagnesium-niv\u00e5er, men de som tog det mindre absorberbara magnesiumoxidet fick inte samma resultat. Samma studie rapporterade \u00e4ven att magnesiumglycinat hj\u00e4lpte med att h\u00f6ja kaliumv\u00e4rdet i blodet hos fysiskt aktiva unga, vilket betyder att magnesiumet aktivt \u00e5terst\u00e4ller och distribuerar kalium i kroppen. Till skillnad mot andra magnesiumtillskott \u00e4r magnesiumglycinat dessutom skonsam mot magen (12).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00e5 vad h\u00e4nder n\u00e4r kroppen absorberar magnesiumglycinat? Magnesium- och glycinmolekyler separeras. De forts\u00e4tter sedan med att utf\u00f6ra sina enskilda funktioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Som tidigare n\u00e4mnt \u00e4r magnesium involverat i hundratals biokemiska processer, inklusive DNA- och RNA-syntes, cellul\u00e4r reparation och mer (1-7). Dessutom fungerar glycinet \u00e4ven f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra s\u00f6mnkvaliteten samt andra neurologiska funktioner. Magnesium-molekylen binds eller kedjas med threonsyra, en sockersubstans som h\u00e4mtas fr\u00e5n askorbinsyra eller C-vitamin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den h\u00e4r formen av magnesium (patenterad som Magtein\u00ae) utvecklades av vetenskapsm\u00e4n vid MIT, Stanford University, och Tsinghua University f\u00f6r att korsa blod-hj\u00e4rnbarri\u00e4ren och \u00f6ka magnesiumniv\u00e5erna i hj\u00e4rnan. Andra former av magnesium kan inte passera blod-hj\u00e4rnbarri\u00e4ren, men Magtein\u00ae kan ta sig igenom det h\u00e4r skyddande membranet. Mer magnesium i hj\u00e4rnan betyder en boost i hj\u00e4rnans bildbarhet, vilket resulterar i b\u00e4ttre kopplingar mellan neuronerna i v\u00e5r hj\u00e4rna (15).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En studie fr\u00e5n 2016 som publicerats i Journal of Alzheimer\u2019s Disease gav \u00e4ldre testpersoner (\u00e5lder mellan 50-70 \u00e5r) med mild kognitiv f\u00f6rs\u00e4mring antingen magnesium L-threonat eller placebo. Efter 12 veckor rapporterade forskarna de h\u00e4r anm\u00e4rkningsv\u00e4rda resultaten (16):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Den genomsnittliga hj\u00e4rn\u00e5ldern i magnesiumgruppen minskade med ungef\u00e4r 9 \u00e5r, medan placebo-gruppen knappt hade n\u00e5gon f\u00f6r\u00e4ndring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Det visade en markant minskning i den kognitiva f\u00f6rs\u00e4mringen, Mer specifikt upplevde magnesiumgruppen positiva f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar inom fyra kognitiva omr\u00e5den: uppm\u00e4rksamhet, arbetsminnet, l\u00e5ngtidsminnet och handlingf\u00f6rm\u00e5ga.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>B\u00e5de hj\u00e4rnans och kroppens magnesiumniv\u00e5er \u00f6kade.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biverkningarna klassificerades endast som milda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finns det n\u00e5got negativt med att ta Magnesium L-threonat?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intelligentlabs.org\/can-a-magnesium-supplement-boost-your-brainpower\/\">Magnesium L-threonat kan hj\u00e4lpa med att boosta din hj\u00e4rnf\u00f6rm\u00e5ga<\/a><\/strong> och f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra inl\u00e4rning och minne, men det finns en liten negativ effekt f\u00f6r den h\u00e4r magnesiumformen.
