Sp\u00f4sob, ak\u00fdm 5-MTHF pom\u00e1ha pri depresi\u00e1ch, nie je zn\u00e1my, ale \u0161t\u00fadie ukazuj\u00fa, \u017ee v\u00fd\u017eivov\u00e9 doplnky s jeho obsahom m\u00f4\u017eu by\u0165 u\u017eito\u010dn\u00e9. \u0160t\u00fadie zameran\u00e9 na depresiu zvy\u010dajne pou\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fa ve\u013emi vysok\u00e9 d\u00e1vky v porovnan\u00ed s be\u017en\u00fdm pou\u017eit\u00edm u\u017e\u00edvate\u013eov. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V \u0161t\u00fadii z roku 2013, ktor\u00e1 zah\u0155\u0148ala viac ako 500 pacientov lie\u010den\u00fdch na depresiu, automatick\u00e9 telefonick\u00e9 prieskumy nazna\u010dili lep\u0161iu priemern\u00fa kvalitu \u017eivota a vy\u0161\u0161iu spokojnos\u0165 s liekmi na depresiu u\u017e po troch mesiacoch u\u017e\u00edvania. Zlep\u0161ila sa aj spokojnos\u0165 so vz\u0165ahmi s pr\u00edbuzn\u00fdmi, priate\u013emi, spolupracovn\u00edkmi, partnermi a nezn\u00e1mymi \u013eu\u010fmi. Celkov\u00e9 rozdiely po 95 d\u0148och boli naozaj signifikantn\u00e9. Subjekty pou\u017e\u00edvali super \u00fa\u010dinn\u00fa formu predp\u00edsan\u00e9ho 5-MTHF. Ka\u017ed\u00e1 d\u00e1vka bola bu\u010f 7,5 mg alebo 15 mg. Po\u010diato\u010dn\u00e1 d\u00e1vka pre be\u017en\u00fdch pou\u017e\u00edvate\u013eov 5-MTHF bez depresie je zvy\u010dajne 1 mg alebo e\u0161te ni\u017e\u0161ia. (12) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jedn\u00fdm z d\u00f4vodov t\u00fdchto v\u00fdhod u pacientov s depresiou m\u00f4\u017ee by\u0165 fakt, \u017ee fol\u00e1t je nevyhnutnou s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou v\u00fdroby hlavn\u00fdch neurotransmiterov, ako je seroton\u00edn, dopam\u00edn a norepinefr\u00edn, a m\u00f4\u017ee ich pom\u00e1ha\u0165 aj regulova\u0165. Je to v\u0161ak komplikovan\u00e9. Zd\u00e1 sa, \u017ee aj star\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadie zo 70. rokov ukazuj\u00fa zn\u00ed\u017een\u00e9 riziko m\u0155tvice a srdcov\u00e9ho infarktu v d\u00f4sledku zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00e9ho u\u017e\u00edvania fol\u00e1tov. (20) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na druhej strane niektor\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadie z USA, zalo\u017een\u00e9 na placebe, nepreuk\u00e1zali zn\u00ed\u017eenie rizika m\u0155tvice alebo srdcov\u00e9ho infarktu. To by mohlo znamena\u0165, \u017ee fol\u00e1t vykazuje tento efekt\u00edvny \u00fa\u010dinok iba vtedy, ke\u010f ho maj\u00fa pacienti nedostatok. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pripome\u0148me, \u017ee USA za\u010dali posil\u0148ova\u0165 jeho obsah v obilnin\u00e1ch v roku 1998, \u010do by mohlo vysvetli\u0165 niektor\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky zo 70. rokov. \u013dudia mali vtedy jednoducho ni\u017e\u0161iu hladinu fol\u00e1tov. (20) \u010c\u00edna neposil\u0148uje obilniny obsahom fol\u00e1tov, \u010do znamen\u00e1, \u017ee aj ich popul\u00e1cia m\u00f4\u017ee trpie\u0165 jeho nedostatkom. Niektor\u00e9 zo star\u00fdch americk\u00fdch \u0161t\u00fadi\u00ed sledovali \u013eud\u00ed, ktor\u00ed mali v minulosti mozgov\u00fa pr\u00edhodu a infarkt. Ako reakciu na tieto udalosti mohli t\u00edto pacienti zn\u00ed\u017ei\u0165 riziko u\u017e\u00edvan\u00edm in\u00fdch liekov a potrav\u00edn, ako bola napr\u00edklad aj kyselina listov\u00e1. Ak je jedna k\u00f3pia g\u00e9nu nedostato\u010dn\u00e1 pre absorpciu fol\u00e1tu, \u00fa\u010dinnos\u0165 spracovania m\u00f4\u017ee by\u0165 ve\u013emi ovplyvnen\u00e1. Ak s\u00fa obe k\u00f3pie zl\u00e9, nebudete metabolizova\u0165 takmer \u017eiadne mno\u017estvo fol\u00e1tu alebo kyseliny listovej. Pouk\u00e1zali by sme tie\u017e na nieko\u013eko \u010fal\u0161\u00edch \u0161t\u00fadi\u00ed, ktor\u00e9 vyl\u00fa\u010dili stravu ako pr\u00ed\u010dinu. Jedin\u00e9, \u010do bolo mo\u017en\u00e9 urobi\u0165, bolo odporu\u010di\u0165 viac \u0161t\u00fadi\u00ed o tejto skuto\u010dnosti plus tipy, ako v nich pokra\u010dova\u0165.
