Descobriram tamb\u00e9m um aumento na queima de gordura, com mulheres a perder uma m\u00e9dia de 3,6lbs (1.6kg) durante o per\u00edodo de 2 meses. Perda de gordura e ganho muscular, n\u00e3o fica mais f\u00e1cil ou saud\u00e1vel do que isto!\r\n<h2>\u00d3leo de Peixe, Exerc\u00edcio e Dieta Tradicional<\/h2>\r\nNo entanto, apesar destes 3 estudos terem demonstrado que o \u00f3leo de peixe por si s\u00f3 pode causar perda de gordura, recomendamos sempre que os suplementos sejam parte de uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o geral para melhorar a sa\u00fade, incluindo mudan\u00e7as no estilo de vida e de dieta, o que levar\u00e1 sempre a melhores poss\u00edveis resultados.\r\n\r\nPor exemplo, um estudo demonstrou que suplementar com \u00f3leo de peixe fornecendo 2,400mg EPA e 1,600mg DHA durante 2 semanas, significativamente aumentou a habilidade do corpo de usar e queimar gordura para energia ao correr a 60% de VO2 m\u00e1ximo. Isto significa que a suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00f3leo de peixe \u00f3mega 3 pode tornar as pessoas mais eficientes na queima de gordura ao se exercitarem.\u00a0<sup>[2]<\/sup>.\r\n\r\nNouto estudo em homens e mulhres obesos que suplementaram com 6 g de \u00f3leo de peixe diariamente, (360 EPA e 1,560mg DHA), durante 12 semanas com exerc\u00edcio leve, (75% de n\u00edvel m\u00e1ximo de batimento card\u00edaco com exerc\u00edcio aer\u00f3bico), demonstrou que o \u00f3leo de peixe e exerc\u00edcio resultou numa perda significativa de gordura corporal (4.4 lb, 2kg), bem como melhorias nos factores de risco de doen\u00e7as card\u00edacas, e uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o nos triglicer\u00eddeos, e um aumento do HDL apenas pelo exerc\u00edcio em si\u00a0\u00a0<sup>[17]<\/sup>.\r\n\r\nUm outro estudo com 324 homens e mulheres de idades entre os 20 e os 40, demonstrou que quando reduziam o consumo cal\u00f3rico em 30%, uma m\u00e9dia de 600 calorias por dia, os que suplementaram com \u00f3leo de peixe perderam em m\u00e9dia 1kg (2.2lbs), al\u00e9m de um per\u00edodo de 4 semanas do que aqueles que apenas reduziram calorias\u00a0\u00a0<sup>[18]<\/sup>.\r\n\r\nUm estudo conduzido em diversas mulheres obesas tamb\u00e9m descobriu que exerc\u00edcio e \u00f3leo de peixe resultou em mais 1,5kg (3.3lbs) de perda de peso em quem suplementava com \u00f3leo de peixe do que nas que n\u00e3o o faziam. Alguns estudos t\u00eam demonstrado que pode ter propriedades de queima de gordura independentemente de mudan\u00e7as na dieta ou estilo de vida.
