But <span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>sustained or frequent hyperglycemia is a cause for alarm<\/strong>. It can result in damage to multiple parts of the body.<\/span> Examples would be <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the vascular system, the brain, the kidneys, the eyes, and the nervous system.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, these kinds of health issues can start at an early age, so it&#8217;s important to pay close attention.
