Why Choose Intelligent Labs Live Cultures For Your Child?
Our Kids Live Cultures & Fibre is designed to complement your child’s diet and support their overall wellness. This gentle, high-quality formula is crafted with care to suit children of all ages.
To make it kid-friendly, we’ve given our chewable tablets a delicious natural fruit flavor that kids love. Parents can rest easy knowing they’re sugar-free and contain no artificial sweeteners. With a fun, candy-like texture, these tablets make it simple to include live cultures in your child’s daily routine.
Acid and Bile Resistant Strains
Not all live cultures are tough enough to survive the journey through the digestive system. That’s why we carefully select strains that can withstand acid and bile, ensuring these beneficial microbes make it to your child’s gut alive — right where they’re needed.
Synbiotic Effect of Fibre
Our Kids Live Cultures & Fibre tablets combine Sunfiber® and FOS, two non-digestible fibres that serve as nourishment for live cultures. These fibres create a synbiotic relationship, helping the live cultures thrive once activated. It’s the perfect pairing to ensure your child gets the most from every tablet.
Active Packaging Technology
Keeping live cultures fresh and effective is a science we’ve mastered. Our Activ-Polymer™ bottle, with its unique moisture-blocking desiccant sleeve, keeps the cultures dry and stable. We also include an Oxyfree® desiccant to absorb any oxygen, maintaining near-zero oxygen levels for maximum potency throughout the product’s shelf life.
At Intelligent Labs, we use high-quality ingredients to make the best children’s live cultures supplement on the market! We don’t use fillers, artificial flavours, additives or preservatives on any of our health products.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
They can take them at any time, however, we generally recommend taking them with a meal, ideally breakfast in the morning. The reason is food will lower the acidity of the stomach, (i.e raise stomach pH), so it is more beneficial for the bacteria. Although our live culture strains are specifically selected for resistance to stomach acids, every little bit helps.
Our product uses specifically selected strains, so they don’t need to be refrigerated. However, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place.
A little gas or bloating is the most common side effect when taking live cultures in both adults and children. If it does happen, it will normally happen in the first few days after they start taking the supplement. It’s important to understand that this is the body’s natural response, and it’s actually nothing to worry about and usually passes in a few days.
The reason it occurs is because the gut bacteria is rebalancing itself. Live culture bacteria are active against yeast, harmful bacteria and fungi, and when your child takes these tablets, harmful microorganisms will start to die. This is what can cause these issues to temporarily increase. It’s actually a sign that the beneficial bacteria are getting to work and helping their gut.
Yes, your child can take live cultures with antibiotics, studies suggest it’s favourable to do so, and helps them to recover more quickly after they finish the course of antibiotics. However, we recommend that you make sure they take their live cultures and antibiotics at least 2 hours apart to reduce the possibility of the antibiotic killing the good bacteria.
The key is looking at the strength or Colony Forming Units (CFU). It’s also important to understand how many of those CFU’s will still be alive in the tablet by the time you take it. We over-manufacture our live cultures and use Active Packaging Technology and fibre to ensure the strength that is on the bottle is the strength you get in your gut.
Many other manufacturers will offer live cultures that will be significantly less powerful by the time you take them than when they are manufactured.
Yes, our Kid’s Live Cultures with Fibre supplement are peanut and tree-nut free.
No, this is in chewable tablet form, not gummy.
Toddlers around 2-3 years old who already know how to chew can start taking this product. If they struggle chewing, crush up the tablet and mix into milk, water, or juice.
We recommend up to puberty age for the Kid’s Live Cultures, so around age 13-14 (varies by child though). As they go through puberty, their gut microbiome also changes. They should then be able to tolerate our Adult Live Cultures with Fibre which have a higher number of CFU’s (50 Billion CFU to be exact).
No, there is no sugar or fat in our Kid’s Live Cultures with Fibre supplement.
