Hvordan virker det p\u00e5 mennesker?<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nEfter forskerne s\u00e5 hvor gode effekter fiskeolie havde ved dyrefors\u00f8gene, genskabte de fors\u00f8gene p\u00e5 mennesker.\r\n\r\nDette studie unders\u00f8gte <strong>effekten af fiskeolie tilskud under forskellige forhold<\/strong>. Blandt andet:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Ingen \u00e6ndring af deltagernes livsstil udover fiskeolie tilskud<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Fiskeolie tilskud samt nyt tr\u00e6ningsprogram<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Fiskeolie tilskud samt reducering af kalorieindtag<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Fiskeolie tilskud, samt nyt tr\u00e6ningsprogram og reducering af kalorieindtag<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nFlere studier har p\u00e5vist, at fiskeolie tilskud alene, uden nogen \u00e6ndring i kost, livsstil eller motion,\u00a0<strong>\u00f8ger fedtforbr\u00e6ndingen og reducerer fedtprocenten.<\/strong>\r\n<h4><strong>1. Unders\u00f8gelse om Fiskeolie og V\u00e6gttab &#8211; Unge M\u00e6nd<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nDen f\u00f8rste unders\u00f8gelse fokuserede p\u00e5 raske, unge m\u00e6nd, som supplerede med 6gr fiskeolie dagligt (selvom det var 6gr fiskeolie, indeholdt den faktisk kun 1100 mg EPA og 700 mg DHA) (13). Unders\u00f8gelse om Fiskeolie og V\u00e6gttab &#8211; Kvinder med Type 2 Diabetes<\/strong>\r\n\r\nDetandet studie fokuseredep\u00e5\u00a0<strong>kvinder medtype 2 diabetes som tog 3 gram fiskeolie om dagen\u00a0<\/strong>(1,080 mg EPA and 720 mg DHA) i 2 m\u00e5neder. Her s\u00e5 de ogs\u00e5 en \u00f8gning i fedtforbr\u00e6ndingen. Kvinderne tabte gennemsnitligt 1.6kg over 2 m\u00e5neder. Forskerne s\u00e5 ogs\u00e5 en reduktion i triglycerider og en \u00f8gning i HDL (ogs\u00e5 kaldet den &#8216;gode kolesterol&#8217;) (15).\r\n<h4><strong>3. Unders\u00f8gelse om Fiskeolie og V\u00e6gttab &#8211; Effekten ved Omega 3 p\u00e5 Muskelmassen<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nEt tredje studie unders\u00f8gte\u00a0<strong>omega 3&#8217;s effekt p\u00e5 muskelmassen\u00a0<\/strong>og fandt, at selvom deltagerne ikke \u00e6ndrede hverken kost eller livsstil, gav et indtag af fiskeolie over en periode p\u00e5 6 uger en reduktion p\u00e5 0.5kg i kropsfedt og en \u00f8gning p\u00e5 0.5kg i muskelmasse. Derved ingen overordnet \u00f8gning i v\u00e6gten, men en reduktion i fedtprocent og en \u00f8gning i muskelmasse (20). Det bliver ikke bedre end det!\r\n<h3><strong>Fiskeolie, Motion og Traditionelle Slankekure<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nSelvom alle 3 studier har p\u00e5vist, at fiskeolie alene kan \u00f8ge v\u00e6gttab, anbefaler vi at det skal v\u00e6re en del af en overordnet plan for forbedring af sundhed, hvilket ogs\u00e5 inkluderer livsstils &#8211; og kost\u00e6ndringer. Dette giver altid de bedste resultater.\r\n\r\nEt eksempel p\u00e5 dette er et studie som p\u00e5viste, at fiskeolietilskud med 2,400 mg EPA og 1,600 mg DHA i 3 uger, \u00f8gede kroppens evne til at bruge og forbr\u00e6nde energi under l\u00f8b p\u00e5 60% af VO2 max. Dette betyder, at omega 3 fiskeolietilskud kan \u00f8ge evnen til at forbr\u00e6nde fedt under bev\u00e6gelse (2).\r\n\r\nEt andet studie lavet med overv\u00e6gtige m\u00e6nd og kvinder i alderen 20 &#8211; 40 fandt, at n\u00e5r de reducerede kalorieindtaagaet med 30% (gennemsnitligt 600 kalorie om dagen), tabte de som tog omega 3 tilskud omkring 1kg mere over en periode p\u00e5 4 uger, i mods\u00e6tning til dem, som udelukkende reducerede kalorieindtaget (18).\r\n\r\nEt studie lavet med sv\u00e6rtoverv\u00e6gtige kvinder fandt ogs\u00e5, at\u00a0<strong>motion og fiskeolie resulterede i yderligere v\u00e6gttab p\u00e5 1.5kg<\/strong> hos dem som tog fiskeolie, end hos dem som ikke gjorde. Forskerne opdagede ogs\u00e5 et h\u00f8jere niveau af beta-hydroxybutyrat i blodet hos den gruppe, som tog fiskeolietilskud. L\u00e6nge troede vi, at vores gener var som skrevet i sten og ikke stod til at \u00e6ndre. Selvom vores DNA kode ikke \u00e6ndrer sig ved vi nu, at \u00a0vores geners udtryk kan \u00e6ndre sig livet igennem. Med andre ord, kan vores celler &#8220;t\u00e6nde&#8221; og &#8220;slukke&#8221; visse gener, afh\u00e6ngigt det milj\u00f8 de bliver udsat for. Denne nye gren af videnskaben som studerer dette, hedder epigenetik. Det har allerede medbragt stor udvikling indenfor vores forst\u00e5else af vores kroppe og sundhed.\r\n\r\nVed at regulere og nedregulere generne, fungerer omega 3 fedtsyrer som br\u00e6ndstofopdelere og \u00e6ndrer derved grundl\u00e6ggende handlinger fra enzymerne, s\u00e5 de producere mindre, samt \u00f8ge fedtforbr\u00e6ndingen. De dirigerer glukose mod glycogenlagring (s\u00e5 det bliver en let tilg\u00e6ngelig energikilde) og f\u00f8rer fedtsyrer v\u00e6k, s\u00e5 de ikke bliver omdannet til triglycerider og mod oxidation. Med andre ord, g\u00f8r de os til mere effektive fedtforbr\u00e6ndere. De forbedrer ogs\u00e5 termogenesen, hvilket er en stigning i kroppens produktion af varme. Dette resulterer i, at flere af de kalorier vi indtager bliver forbr\u00e6ndt og brugt til energi (3)(21)(30).\r\n\r\nEn anden m\u00e5de hvorp\u00e5 omega 3 fedtsyre reducerer fedtlagringen, er ved at \u00f8ge niveauet af hormonet adiponectin i blodet (31-33). Adiponectin \u00f8ger insulinf\u00f8lsomheden, s\u00e6nker blodsukkeret og triglyceridniveauet. Det er ogs\u00e5 antiinflammatorisk og stimulerer fedtsyreoxidation (34). Generelt set, jo h\u00f8jere niveauer af adiponectin, jo mindre kropsfedt. Omega 3 reducerer ogs\u00e5 cortisolniveauet (35)(36). Et forh\u00f8jet cortisolniveau, f\u00e5r os til at f\u00f8le mere stress og kan for\u00e5rsage fedme og overskydende fedtlagring (36)(38).\r\n<h3><strong>Konklusion: har du brug for fiskeolie for at \u00f8ge fedt &#8211; og v\u00e6gttabet?<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nOmega 3 kan og b\u00f8r v\u00e6re en del af ethvert fedt- eller v\u00e6gttabsprogram og hos alle, der \u00f8nsker maksimal sundhed. Nogle unders\u00f8gelser har nemlig vist, at det kan have fedtforbr\u00e6ndende egenskaber uafh\u00e6ngigt af \u00e6ndringer i kost og\/eller livsstil. Vi skal dog v\u00e6re realistiske. N\u00e5r vi \u00f8nsker at foretage \u00e6ndringer, er vi n\u00f8dt til at tage et holistisk synspunkt, dvs. se p\u00e5 alt, der er relateret til v\u00e6gt\u00f8gning, snarere end at forvente at en &#8216;magisk pille&#8217; skal g\u00f8re alt bedre. Den helhedsorienterede indsats g\u00f8r resultaterne bedre og oftest, langt mere permanente.\r\n\r\nDe aktuelle unders\u00f8gelser af fedttab har varieret i m\u00e6ngden af \u200b\u200banvendt fiskeolietilskud fra 1800mg omega 3 op til 4000mg. Det er dog vigtigt at bem\u00e6rke, at disse fors\u00f8g er udf\u00f8rt med den mindre absorberede og ikke liges\u00e5 effektive ethylester form for fiskeolie.
